Maybe something like injury prone rating, players who are injury proned(like Grant Hill and Shaun Livingston) gets more often and injured and some don´t. Rating will increase, when players get older, because regulary old players get more often injured.

a couple more things... i'm sure someone suggested them already but it would be cool to be able to save replays (not just screenshots).. also, saving a game in the middle of playing it (like madden) would be nice and really logical (since full 12 minute per quarter games take a long time to finish.

Better "on the fly" substitution. And the substitution thing shouldn't come off just because the other team scores or passes the ball in.

Well i'd like to see FSS and Sig shots, but keeps the sig shots with no way to change the release, so it'd be more realistic. adn keep FSS and regular shots with releases

PROFILE functions:
- ablitiy to save playbooks for each team in your own profile
- ability to save settings, sliders and other in-game functions like auto-sub in profiles (for consoles/PCs with mutiple users)
- ability to load multiple profile playbooks in one game.

also, I've noticed a slow reaction when using a control pad in the PC version, a glitch maybe?

please take out the hot-spots or an on-off button in the options menu and bring back modifiers... imagine going for a fast break then your PG suddenly decides to do a fancy alley-oop pass... a pass to the 6th row crowd!!!

CINEMATICS for pre-game, half-time and post-game... like a mock interview of the player of the game.

more realistic play-offs and finals crowd...

I don't know if this should be considered a bug to fix but I think something has to be done with this.
Whenever I'm playing defense, I could command my player to just wait and stand beneath the basket of my side of the court, so only four of my players are defending on the other side, so once I get the possesion, all I have to do is pass the ball to my player waiting and score a very VERY VERY EASY two points. I think something has to be done with that because the CPU opponent can't even score with just four defenders.

For me, that is it. I have played each version of Live this year. The Wii version is, by far, the most worst version.

It has No Player Lock. No Franchise mode. No Create a player.

I'd like to see some expansion of All Star Weekend such as the skills competition, shooting stars, and props for the dunk contest. (what would this past weekend have been without the cape, the cupcake, and the mini-basket?" And like the real All-Star Game, it should change venues in Dynasty mode (just like the Finals and Playoff logos are superimposed onto the regular courts, so should the All Star game logos). Hey, it's probably the only way we'll ever get to see an All Star game played in Sacramento! Finally, please make the FIBA players available as free agents in Dynasty Mode. It's a bit disappointing to become fond of using a particular player from say Greece that can't be signed in Dynasty.

Here is one of my new ideas that would be pretty cool in my opinion:

So, at this point the D-League is playing a fairly decent role in the NBA now. It is now pretty common for teams to assign players to the D-league. Now, I'm not sure if EA would want to add a full-on D-league with rosters, teams, arenas, etc so that you could play as that player in the D-league as part of your dynasty. They'd probably wouldn't do that. But, instead you could still have the option to send the player to the D-League, and you would get progress reports, and be able to see box scores of the simulated games. Also you could also send scouts to check out the D-league to see any prospects (CPU generated players or real, doesn't matter since hardly anyone follows the real D-League anyway), and you could offer to sign D-leaguers to 10-day contracts etc. (as many people requested to have). Anyways, I'm not sure if this is feasible for '09, but it'd be really cool.

All I want is NBA live to be much harder. Like FIFA, I play only on the third level and I can't even win. NBA live - Super Star... 150 won games in a row with super sonics... nice ? that's sucks!

and I would want a possibility bad players to become great players. For example I played a lot with one of my rookies and he became the best rookie of the year and... his overall increased by 1. LOL

PC VERSION
Hi I'm faithful player of NBA Live (I have 98, 2000, 2002, 2003, 2004, 06 and 08) and I was very disappointed by NBA Live 08. It is the worst version I played.
I don't know if there were beta tests or not but if you want beta testers for NBA Live 09 please mail me ! I really like NBA Live and don't want 09 to be bad ...
(Sorry beforehand for the few language mistakes I'm french).

Problems I encountered in NBA Live 08 :
- free throw, on defense, can't move the selected player to catch rebound.
- players with high value for the skill of passing do a "freestyle pass" but this style of passing never succeeds an "alley hoop".
- superstars (especially Dirk Nowitzki) make all their shoots even if it's a fade away shoot with 2 or 3 players in front of him.
- players are fasters than passes (example: the center player is under the basket, 2 defenders on him, he passes to a player for a three point, on of the defender have enough time to block the 3point shoot.
- defenders spend too much time to withdraw (after a throw-in you can easily make a dunk with only 2 passes forward).
- some substitutes are not on the bench but in front of it.
- system of direct pass (or choosing a particular player on defense) isn't good, buttons aren't the same when you pass the ball so you are completely lost ...
- In NBA Live 06 fake shoots worked every time, in 08 it never works, defender jump always when you make the real shoot (dribbling fakes aren't very effective too ...).

Nice things to implement in 09 :
- street mode (3on3 may be the best I think) with a very Arcade gameplay: a lot of freestyle moves, very high jumps ...
- shooting traning: a training that make you shoot from different spots and tell you if you loosen the touch of shooting too early or too late (because in NBA Live 08 I don't always understand why I don't make some easy shoots -_-).
- more freestyles moves (dribbling and shooting [including dunks and layups]).
- you have to change the strategies every game (changes aren't saved). So maybe create a section "Strategies" in the Season, Playoff, Dinasty menu in addition to the in-game section.
- save in-game replays

Absolutely. I did consider doing two seperate Wishlists, one for the consoles and one for the PC, but since it would be preferable that the 360/PS3 version is ported to the PC it makes more sense to simply create a Wishlist of what we'd like in NBA Live 09, period.
