Street moves/AND 1 moves

Tue Dec 09, 2008 11:57 am

Does anyone on this forum know how to do AND 1 or street-ball type moves? In the intro. video and even in the actual game sometimes the computer has done crossovers that I have not been able to figure out.

Has anyone else besides me seen the computer do these moves?

I haven't come across any moves I'd truly deem AND 1-like yet.

Well if you wait long enough when the game says to "press start button" and shows Tony Parker's face when you first put the game into the console, it will show some short clips of some players doing dribbles and dunks/layups. I think it is Gilbert Arenas in one of the videos who dribbles it through the legs of Jason Terry and then does some fancy dribbling (AND1 type) and then passes it to DeShawn Stevenson for a layup.

phpBB [video]

that video is pretty much the same as that intro video

those are mo-capped sequences, not gameplay from the game so no, there are not any and1 esk moves like that Arenas move in that video

Funny how in that game, they are using the glass but in the actual game you don't even see them using the glass

So in other words they tweaked the dribbling in just this video to make nba live seem like the gameplay is better than it really is.

In a way. It has higher presentation values because it's serving as the intro video in lieu of actual game footage, a practice I wouldn't mind them going back to.
