It was on the NBA.com website. It shows what happened in the simulation of that season. What the team records were, Playoff Outcomes, Awards, Teams, Leauge Stat Leaders..etc check it out

Was hoping raptors at least made it past the first round and not face the pistons :/
Though i was pretty surprised...was expecting a finals rematch between lakers and celtics.
Also my man Kapono he's all day behind the arc, no doubt he would lead the league again in 3 point field goal %

Thanks for the heads up. (Y)

I'm not sure the East will be quite that weak this year, at least through the first three or four seeds and I don't expect Miami will be amongst them (though I think they should be in playoff contention).

Looking at the simulated stats leaders, they don't look too bad. I'll reserve judgement until I've seen complete leaderboards but those aren't bad upper limits for simulated stats, I'd say better than what I saw at the Community Day.

CP3 26-9? Boston 44-38? Jameer Nelson 8.6 APG? This looks even worse than last year. :(

Thing is, they don't mention injuries so it's possible some of the teams fared worse than expected if everyone remained relatively healthy throughout the year. Some sims are better than others...in testing the roster updates throughout the years, I've had some fairly plausible results on some run throughs and some ludicrous results on others.

Lulz, wtf EA. Clippers, lulz. Pacers and Warriors, lulz.

Maybe they should stop adding up the overall ratings, picking a winner and then calculating the stats backwards from that.

Or hire some people who understand what wins in basketball.

I've never understood for these things why they just run one simulation. Don't they known anything about running statistical models?

If your judging them based on the debacle from last year then yeah it would seem impossible.

However, if Wade, Marion and Beasley are in that lineup healthy and ready to go it wouldn't shock me to see Miami bounce back this year.

Everyone knows Wade is hyped up by the league and you can bet he'll be treated much like he was 3 years ago during that title season.

There's been a couple of teams out east the last few years that have caught people by surprise and made the playoffs when no one thought they were any good at the start of the year such as Washington, Atlanta and Chicago to name few who were pretty bad the previous year.

In today's NBA if you have 3 studs you can do some damage.

Maybe, but it always seems like they post the worst simulation results in these season previews. Simulation results can vary quite a bit, as I said I've seen some pretty realistic results while testing the roster updates but other times the outcome has been quite unlikely.

I assume those were your own made updates, and not EA updates if there was such a thing.

Correct, but the sim engine is what it is, flawed with or without the NLSC updates.

I can understand the heat winning 55 games (Go heat) if they're healthy, but cleveland 41-41? No way, (Go cavs) Cleveland will win at least 49 or 50 games with the addition of mo williams. And at yahoo when you look under the cleveland section they're talking championship. Here are my rankings in east and west.

East
Boston
Miami
Detroit
Cleveland
___________top 4 teams only
West
New orleans
San Antonio
Lakers
Utah
____________
I beleive Miami will win the east because of the veterans they have plus the playmaker Shawn livingston added recently. And in the west it will be Lakers out of the west because of team leader Kobe, other key players will be, casol, odom off the bench and derek fisher and guys, watch out for jordan farmar i think he will be much improved offensively this year. I don't know who will be nba champion though.

Also to note, Bynum is coming off injury so watch out for him as well. He will be a key big in there lineup.

Have you seen bynum lately? I've seen him and he sure has gotten bigger, assistants must have trained him in athletics making him stronger and tougher. He has muscles now, unbelievable you should see him!

I'd still like to know whether or not they disable injuries in these simulations; they really should, in my opinion. And if they don't, they should at least note major injuries that occurred during simulation as they're likely to play a factor in the final standings.

You know it doesn't exactly work like that, right? ;)

WOW... Pretty interesting SIM... The HEAT from Worst to FIRST? Wow...

My Lakers though won the title, oh yeah! (Y)

Also interesting to note that 3 teams with losing records made it to the Eastern Playoffs.

Philly didn't make the playoffs...

Portland with only 33 wins? Please...

Also, The warriors MIGHT end up with 31 wins because of Monta's 30-game mo-ped-caused suspension :)

Coach of the Year - PHIL? Hmm... If we base it on the standings alone, Spoelstra should be Coach of the Year seeing as the HEAT went from worst to first.

DPOY - KOBE? Niiiiiiiiice (Y)
