Live 09 Cover

There has been known for a while, that Tony Parker would be on the cover of NBA Live 09. But when I got mine yesterday (I live in Norway), Luol Deng of the Chicago Bulls were on the cover. I was fine with that, but the wierd thing is that Parker is on the CD, but not the cover. Is this the same for everyone, or is it just a european/scandinavian thing?

I also noted that the players height is listen in centimeters (cm). Are they listed in foor and inches in the US?

I just found out (by googling it) that there would be different starts starring the different versions of the game around the world. It said that Deng would be on the cover in the UK, Bargnani for Italy and some other dude for some other country (dont remember). But shouldnt Parker be on my version then, since Parker was suppoes to be on the cover in every other region/country than the ones with other stars on it? My best guess is that the store/company (EB Games) bought the game from the UK.

Yes, it is because of the metric system, or lack the metric system fort he US.

Who is one the cover should be based on you closest region, not whether you are actually in a particular country.

Hmmm... A bit strange to have Luol Deng on the Norwegian cover, I would have thought Tony Parker is a bigger star than him outside the UK.

I have to admit I'm a little disappointed in the use of the metric system in the PAL version. Even though Australia does use the metric system, when it comes to basketball I always think in terms of feet, inches and pounds. It kind of takes away from the broadcast aspect of the presentation but I guess it's a small issue in the grand scheme of things.

We have Luol Deng on the cover in Poland too... Its a bit strange for me because Live 08 had Global cover here, so why Live 09 has UK cover ? I've found out that both (08 and 09) in Poland are from Swiss EA Geneve.

In Poland we use metric system only , so finally I don't have to calculate...

That's probably just the one that was ordered in. It's definitely not a PAL thing as Tony Parker's on the cover here in Australia.
