what Would You Like to see improved in Dynasty Mode

what would you like to see improved in Dynasty Mode

1) when you go to players contacts you use to see the players first and last name now you see something like B. Rogers

2) Saving During The Offseason

3) Trading pics and players on draft night and even sometimes the contract i don't think match up ( Brandon Wright traded from Charlotte to Golden State for Jason Richardson) I don't think the contracts match up here and yet trades do happen like this but Charlotte does have some cap room

4) NBA Comparison ( I would love to have an idea of players that are scouted who there game is closely related to

5) Scouting mode I would like to see a clutch rating

6) Multiplayer dynasty mode

7) Game Of The Day or week only in dyansty

8) Trade more than 3 people at least 6 people you can trade

9) Trade Future Draft Picks

10) Better Generated Rookies ( I can live with maybe up to 4 undersized Shooting Guards which is too common in NBA Live dyansty but not a bunch. Here is how i think the size should go

C- 6'10"- 8'0"
PF- 6'8"- 7'1"
SF- 6'6"- 7'0"
SG- 6'4"- 6'9"
PG- 5'5"- 6'8"

11) a draft list from the first season to the final season of dyansty mode to see who each team drafted

12) if any all team on your team is frustrated on your team what eam or teams he would like to be traded to

13) 3 team trades

maybe some talking about the plays during the highlight reel

they should make like an nba tv daily and stuff were the talk about all the games that went on that night

maybe make like a visaul draft were stern says the plays name and the come up and take the hat and whatever

I would like to see a balance between defense and offense for example a lebron james getting 6 steals and scoring 20 or 30 points like he did in real life, i would like to see the players play like they play in real life. I would like to see guys like chris kaman scoring more centers scoring in double figures more. Playmaking point gaurds getting 5 or more assists per game such as chris paul, telfair and others. And i mean in simulation.

I like that nbatv daily idea and since ESPN has NBA Live now why not plays of the days showing highlights and scores from the games kind of like the football game ESPN2K5 did. I wouldn't mind seeing some highlights and another thing I thought about too would be adding up to six new teams in the league an expansion mode in dyansty mode or even regular season.

The main problem with the highlight reels is that aside from clips taken from the user game, the stock clips would likely get repetitive after a while. It'd be a nice touch though.

I would love to see a Weekly Newspaper or a Magazine. The newspaper/magazine can write there the best games that happened that week. or buzzer beaters or records that have been broken.

That would be cool as well but again I think it could get repetitive after a while. I'd rather see further enhancements to the trading interface and free agent signing, 10 day contracts etc before some of those other extras. As far as the PC version is concerned, I'd like to see the Dynasty Mode from the 360/PS3 version ported over (along with the rest of the game, for that matter).

I actually thought of something new that I don't see in the dynasty a generated rookie that is either a power forward or center who is a good to great passer. I would like to see some point forwards or point centers ( think Brad Miller in this category). Not necessarily in every draft but maybe a draft to where the draft is either say good, strong or very strong is where i would like to see point forwards or pointcenters

I'd like to see that too. A few "oddities" would make the generated rookies more interesting, though there definitely shouldn't be more than a couple of those players in each Draft (even that might be too much).

I thought of another thing instead of saying strength is def awareness and weakness is free throw why not have a more in depth scouting that say something like this for example

PF- Roger Jackson- 6'10"- 248 lbs- Duke- NBA Comparison- Kevin Garnett

was a very good scorer and rebounder in Duke. He put up 19.8 ppg and 10.1 rpg. Also can pass the ball very well and is a lock down defender.

- pretty much a good all around player but needs to work on free throw shooting to improve his 60 percent free throw shooting.

*Add an Owner Rating based on Salary Spent & Performance.
*Introduce Luxury Tax

For example, say your managing Dallas:
Mark Cuban is usually willing to spend Big $$$ to bring in guys as long as they win, while other teams,
like the Spurs, are very conscious about going into the Luxury Tax. (Option: Turn on /Turn off)
Team - Owner - Performance Req - Cash
---------------------------------
Mavs - Cuban - A - $$$
Knicks - J.Dolan - C - $$$
Spurs - Holt - A - $
*10 days contracts
*Bi-annual Exception
*Traded Player Exceptions

*More options when singing your drafted Rookies.

Introduce a better trade Screen which shows all necessary information on a single screen.
Position/ Ovrl/ Age/ Contract/ Yrs Left/ Interest
PF - 78 - 24 - $4.63 - 3 - [||||| ]

*Bring back shorter seasons

*Introduce a Trading block, where you can put up players and receive offers from Interested Teams.

-Allow Team practices, so that you can run/test out plays.

You can do this already now. I've done trades like it before in Live 07, and probably still exists in 08 too.

So they still haven't fixed this? I'm glad I didn't pick up NBA Live 06-08.

Should this aforementioned bug make it into the next version, in-game editable rosters would be nice. In Madden 07 one could edit players somewhat, change positions to a degree, jersey numbers, etc.. I hate having to use an external editor or a .dbf thing to fix 7 foot 3 inch tall randomly generated shooting guards/small forwards.

I'd say it's slightly better in recent releases but undersized guards are still a bit too common.

i would like to see during dynasty mode an option for hiring your own head coach, like you do assistants, scouts and trainers....

Hi guys!

1) I'd like NBA live to have realistic market. In NBA live none accept a contract under his standards, even when there's none offering that money. Sometimes you have superstars that stay free agent for 4 years because no team have enough space to sign them! That's ridiculous. Also, some players (like veterans) should be willing to sign with championship teams no matter what. Also..sometimes you want a "80" player from a tem that has one 90 and one 85 player in the same role..you offer a 79 in a role were they need some help..but they will NEVER accept! Also..sometimes teams should be in "rebuilding mode", interested in trading expiring contracts.

2) I'd like to have a coach-market. I'd like to be able to change coach and change my team mentality. I hate scout-assistents and so on with bogus names and having to worry about a certain budget. I hate having to scout only one area (offense, defense) at a time or being able to train one player at a time.
It would be better if you have the chance to change coach and coaching staff, everyone with his own skills (affecting the way the team plays). At the start of the season you decide what you want to train, player by player and what you want the team to play (quick offense? Rebounding? Defense? Triangle post offense or iso?).

3) I'd like NBA live to be smarter in playing time and starters percentage. If I go with a certain rotation, I don't want the cpu to mess up everything at the first injury to the 12th man or at the first trade. Also, sometimes a team plays with two great shooting guards and a very poor playmaker. The cpu should trade one guard or make the two SG play at the two guard spots.

4)I'd like a realistic all star game, and not having an all stars with no all stars players at all and a bunch of good players only. You want the best!

5) realistic stats and some career stats all on the same page, not only year by year. I'd like to be able to see how a player developed, where he played, so on.

6) there's a dinasty mode around that have some flaws but is a great concept: you can start a season in dinasty mode with any team in any season from te beginning of the nineties! I think it would be great with the real rookie classes, new uniform and so on, drafting Duncan with the Celtics and enjoying "what if..?"

7) instead of having to search rumors, having a page were rumors are written. Like a ESPN page, so you can base on that if you want to dump a contract or find a certain kind of player.

I don't know if there's enought room for those changes, but they can make some room eliminating scouts-assistants-assitant coaches and so on.
They should use two dvd's one for the basics and the other if you want to istall hall of fame, one million different shoes, dunk contests and so on.
One great way of raising money (if money is a concern) is McDonald's championship during the off season. They'll pay you good for it! :)

It would be awesome, but licensing issues mean it's not happening anytime soon.

Likeness rights. They would need to pay those players for the rights to use their likeness in the game and considering how many players we'd be talking about, it just wouldn't be financially feasible. The same issues are preventing classic teams from being included in the game so unfortunately there's no chance for a retrospective Dynasty Mode.

This. You have no idea how frustrating it is not to have the info when you're trading...
