NBA Live 09 Xbox 360 & Playstation 3 Issues

the updates seem to be glitched right now, well, at least last night

downloaded when i started up

downloaded again when loading my FIBA championship

downloaded again when playing ranked online, finished the game

downloaded again when I wanted to play a 2nd online game, got fed up and quit out

SOS!!! NBA Live 09 Xbox 360 Live 365 Updates/Downloads!!!

NBA Live 365 downloaded the updated roster last Monday and was still working fine 'til Tuesday. But Wednesday came and Live 365 automatically downloaded a new roster which i may say is very biased. I am huge Laker fan and seeing the download yesterday gave me the impression that the ones preparing these so called live updates aren't fair in their preparation. I thought that the rosters and the DNA settings depends upon the current roster that is supposed to be based on the actual day and changes is in effect the next day(based on the actual day). The new roster shows Bynum playing and he hasn't played the day before due to INJURIES, Not that i dont like him to play, he is in fact the new backbone of the Center position. LAL fans are already upset over his loss. Second, Morrison has already been in the lineup and now he's not in the lineup again? Third, SAS has an overall rank of 97? c'mon guys... Boston didnt even get close to HOU or LAL or the Cavs and SAS gets a 97? that is so absurd don't you think? I hope the ones who prepare these live 365 updates has to show some more effort in being fair in preparing these updates and i hope that these matter be resolved soon.

Looks like they are having some problems. It has been reported that the 365 update constantly notifies you that there is a new update and downloads the "new" roster.

To clarify, from my understanding there is no one person who does the updates. EA's server is synchronized with Synergy Sports data and EA applies the changes to their roster automatically, and I believe EA sometimes manually corrects issues with newly signed players, since they end up being generated . Their could be a problem with either server or the software in general.

i was scrolling thru random teams on tuesday, were the clippers always a 91 overall? has that been fixed/changed?

I haven't really paid attention to the overall rating in recent 365 updates but it does seem a bit high to say the least, even with a few higher rated players on the roster.

Thank you for noticing our concerns and for shedding light to things we barely understand and we hope that live 365 will evolve into a more stable environment for gamers to dwell on.

Does anyone know where the EA Sports Locker Room is?

The Locker Room is an online feature, specifically part of Online Team Play Clubs. It's where club members meet up when they're ready to play a game.

Did they correct the ball bouncing on the players head? I was playing nba 2k9. I noticed that they copied some of the songs from the nba live series hehehe. There was a song from nba live 07 that they copied.

I've had no problems with the OKC team on dynasty freezing up so idk. I have a ps3.

I have XBOX360 and it hasn't ever freezed on me on Dynasty . But it has froze on me when I was shooting a freethrow but it was probaly cuz the disk was broke

I just played a gamer named Vitulillo(Spain) and i definitely believed that the game was a cheat from the get-go. I couldn't get any timeouts or substitution from the start of the game 'til the end . Could somebody tell me how this is possible? I believe its a bug that EA has to look into or simply this gamer must be resorting to game tampering to get a win. So please NBA Live 09 staff have a look at this problem coz this simply doesnt create balance in the game. Hoping for your swift action on this matter.

That's never happened to me playing online. So when you hit the button to call timeout, nothing happened?

Yup. No time outs at all, nothing, nada . the game just goes on and finishes as it should be but no time outs...i can't make a substitution or change my game strategies. this game is in the quick match mode. i hope this bug could be discovered by live 09 staff and do the needful. thank you.

That's really strange, I've never come across that playing NBA Live 09 online.

before the patch update i was able to cut using the turbo button now i cant. how do u fix this because that was the best feature to me.

I haven't heard of or experienced that problem or know of a fix for it but perhaps someone else can offer some insight.

salaries on the last updated 365 roster are wrong on the following players:josh smith ( atl ) ,barbosa,iguodala,biedris,bosh

Appreciate the heads up, but it doesn't look like that will be resolved this year.

To tell you honestly, I was one of the people that defended nba live 09 against the nba 2k9 fanatics. I was totally disappointed with live 09. There's no sense of realism right now. The only thing good with NBA Live 09 is that they have a lot of new shoes as compared to 2k9 but in terms of realism and game play I would have to go with NBA 2k9. At fist NBA 2k9 intimidated me with a lot of commands that you need to master. But once you got used to it you'll definitely enjoy playing it. I hope that the next edition of nba live would be more realistic. I'm thinking twice right now of buying a copy of nba live 2010 when it goes out this October.
