Player Heights

Anyone know why EA Sports doesn't always follow the player's official listed height, especially the rookies?
Examples:
- Kevin love is 6'10" in NBA.com and ESPN, but only 6'9" in NBA Live 09.
- Michael Beasley is 6'9" yet only 6'8" in the game.
- Marc Gasol is 7'1" but only 6'11" ingame

i dont think "1 inch will hurt so bad

Could be oversight, or they could be working from a different source. I don't have an official answer on that unfortunately.

yeah, it doesn't hurt at all specially for gameplay. but for us who like to look at numbers, it does matter.
