does nbalive 09 for ps2 go on line?

can someone tell me if the ps2 nbalive 09 can play on line. I usually played nbalive online with the pc version. But then I heard they didnt make 09 for the pc this year. ok fine so i finally tried to go online with my ps2 and was finally successful with the start up disc. I bought nbalive 09 for it to play on line again and its not working. I cant even figure out where on the menu to go.

can someone help me?

I don't think so; the PS2 version has become such an afterthought it wouldn't surprise me if online capabilities have been removed or overlooked.
