dynasty cpu trades can be overridden now!

you can modify cpu controlled teams during dynasty mode now. the only catch is that you dont get dynasty achievements when you have this feature turned on. you can also turn off the salary cap, with the same effect on the achievements. so if you want to force a trade during your dynasty... or every trade that happened in the real NBA since you started your dynasty, you may now do so. again, it is optional.. but it adds to the realism, or lack of it if you chose to trade all your players for superstars. but hey, at least now you have the option. you can still play your dynasty with no control over cpu teams. i am digging it. i like the idea of keeping my rosters up to date during my dynasty.

I hadn't noticed it either do they have that feature for the ps2 because what i've noticed is that there are hardly any trade, and lebron doesn't get shipped around.

kingjames, Does that mean you can initiate any trade and the CPU will accept?
And will the CPU do any transactions on their own, or will just wait for you to do everything?

Thanks for the info.

you still get trade offers throughout the season, so my guess is that yes, the cpu does initiate trades on its own. and yes you can propose a trade between any two teams, yours or any cpu controlled and they will automatically accept. also you can go back and correct the trades that the cpu does that you dont want it to do. just keep in mind this will inhibit your ability to get dynasty points and or achievements

When you start a new Dynasty, you're presented with the option of disabling the Salary Cap and the ability to modify CPU rosters.
