Crowd problem!

OK... here's my problem... maybe you got the same one and can help.

I play NBA2K9 on a laptop computer. I play it on the lowest, and it's playable, but I can't play from time to time because of a weird problem: the crowd dissapears and appears again (from game to game, not in the same game), and as it is one of the heaviest things on the graphic side of the game, when the crowd "decides" to be there, I'm fucked.

I have the crowd set on low, but it's comming and going from game to game... weird!
I rather have it off, but that's not an option on the video settings.

Anyone can help??
