Talk about NBA 2K9 here, as well as all previous games in the NBA 2K series.

Hi,
This is the first year I played 2k basketball, having played the Live series since '95. After purchasing NBA 2k9 for the PC, it wasn't playable on my P4 3.06ghz gig even on lowest settings. I ended up getting a spanking new graphics card & changed the Power Supply Unit. Still unplayable (very very laggy). Turns out... that it was Vista which was killing the game(needs double the RAM). I installed Windows XP and it runs silky smooth with awesome graphics.
Ok, that's my intro. The purpose of this post is to ease newcomers to the 2K PC series into the game as soon as possible. I have questions, which I hope the community can contribute to build up this guide. For example, I'm new to installing patches to my game for 2K series, there aren't any installers(yet?) and adding new players, teams etc is not common place knowledge yet (as compared to NBA Live).
Here are the questions:
1) What camera do you use in the game? What settings? Why?
2) What happens when I add custom teams (by patchers) such as Bulls 96, 90's All-stars to my game? (Can I add teams created by different patchers/patches to the same game?, How would it affect the rosters? Can only one instance run at once, or do I have to manually create teams?)
3) When I add custom teams to the game, do I definitely have to load their rosters?
4) Do slider and roster files work separately?
5) How do you learn and practice the moves(isomotion etc)? Tutorial mode, Pickup games, or?
6) (Please feel free to contribute info which you feel would help newbies to 2K9)
Thank you

1) I use the "2K" camera. This was the default camera setting in the earlier NBA 2K games, and is far better than the sideline ones, in my opinion. I don't get why they changed the default to sideline.
