Sign/release players

Can I remove all players from any team and add to this team other players, who I want ? Like in NBA LIVE 2008
I can do it in game (without any programs) ?

yes. go to manage roster. click a player. then something will appear.

manage roster---> rosters---> Press Space on player (PC)---> There U go! (assign to another team; release to free agency; trace with another team)

But you need a minimum of 12 players on any one team.
