Question regarding injuries on rosters

Sat Feb 21, 2009 7:02 pm

On all the rosters I've downloaded so far, none of the injuries show up in the "injury report" when I start an association. But it's obviously coded somewhere that the player is inactive b/c he doesn't play in the game. Is there anyway to view the starting lineup and the bench before going into the game? Also, if these players are placed inactive, how do I know how long they will be injured for???

I.E. I'm trying to start an association w/ the opening night roster for the Warriors and I want Monta to be injured for half the season as he was in real life. Are any of these rosters out there usable to start an association with or are all these injuries that are encoded just by placing players on the inactive list indefinitely?

New association- new start :)

No, if U downloaded roster w/ injuries, injured players will play 4 the cpu teams.

when U're loading a game, press enter to edit the lineup, U can see both teams there

No, when U start new association, all teams' redo their rotations so none of players are injured. If U want Ellis not 2 play 4 half of the season, U need 2 do it manually.

Thanks for the reply. So I'm confused then...what's the point of encoding the injuries for these roster updates? Do most ppl here not play Association mode? I was hoping that like in Madden, you could keep for pre-existing injuries.
