Single Core Processor

This might be weird, when i first got this game, it would not run for anything, even on the lowest settings and after the patch, it would play at about 3 frames per second, i tried everything, and nothing worked, Then i got some kind of trojan that i could not get rid of, so i did a complete format of my main harddrive, and only put on what was absolutely neccasary, and just for giggles i put this game back on and the patch, and now it runs beautiful everything maxed out and on ultra high with no frame lag whatsoever, it plays perfectly, but with one small problem, i cant save any rosters except for the default one, because i dont have a application data folder in the my documents, so i tried making one and that doesnt work, the game still doesnt recognize any other files but the default ones, can somebody help me with this ? is there something i'm missing or something, any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks I have a single core processor and now that the game runs so smoothly i want to be able to use a better roster than the default. My specs by the way are just a pentium 4 2.6 ghz with a nvidia 7300 GT with the 512 mb and i have 1 and a half gigs of ram and thats it lol and this game runs sweet, i cant figure it out but not gonna complain either, So any help with the Save issue will be appreciated, Thanks Guys.

I dont really know how come, i'm just glad i can, i guess i had so much crap on my system that was taking up so much room, i mean i have a 120 gig hard drive and all i had for free space when i got the game was about 20 gigs, and when i put the game on it took all but about 3 gigs plus i had so many things running in the back ground i had no idea what ones to close, and then i got some kind of trojan that messed up my system and forced me to format my whole hard drive, and so now all i have on my hard drive is the required stuff and all the upgrades and this game, well now it plays like it should have, and i dont experience any lags whatsoever except sometimes the first foul shot depending on what camera angle is showing, other than that it runs perfect. I do however get just a tiny bit of frame rate drop when i go from high to ultra high on the players, but not enough to really notice a big difference, and i think it wouldnt even do that if i had more ram i only have a gig and a half of ram, but i am gonna get 2 2 gig sticks of ram so i will have more than enough, Like i said i dont know why it plays so good and i really dont care just as long as it does, and i hope the next patch doesnt ruin it lol so thats it basically, maybe if you reboot and get rid of some of the things you dont need maybe it will run better for you, and i also got a 500 gig external hd for all my other games and stuff so my main hd is clutter free, so maybe it will work, i hope so because everybody should be able to enjoy this game not just the high end machines.

Well so much for that, this game is total crap at the moment, i mean dont get me wrong it played fine for quite awhile now, and just as i am happy with the performance and gameplay it reverted right back to only giving me about 3fps totally unplayable, 2k outdid there selves with this one as it plainly states on my game box and in the manual that single core processors are supported and should get addequate performance, which it was till yesterday now it sucks again, so till they figure out how to make a pc game playable, instead of ranting and raving i am going to do what i should have done in the first place, and get a xbox 360 at least then i wont have to upgrade every year just to play a certain game. I saw my brothers 360 on hd and the graphics and gameplay were totally amazing better than any computer game i have seen so far, not to knock anybody else because i am sure there is some awesome computer setups out there, the difference for me is money i'm not gonna spend 1200 or more bucks for a decent computer to run a couple of games that i can get on 360 for less than a third and you dont have to upgrade every year, just my opinion. Game companys should make their games playable for everybody for those who have high end machines should get the good high end graphics but those who have crummier machines should also be able to enjoy the game even if it is less pretty they should be able to have half decent graphics and gameplay also like some games i can play really good on high like oblivion, which is not that old so i know it can be done just wish they would consider everybody not just the high end machines.
