Texmod problem, not working/loading

Hey guys, I have a problem with my texmod. I've done everything that is supposed to be done. I go and load the nba2k9.exe from the steam files. Then I go to package mode and load the nba2k9.exe and the tpf file i want to use but when i run the game, it still isnt there.

P.S. The texmod dosnt even show up in the left corner for mines either and I have it checked for my settings. Can someone help me?? Thanks

go check your anti-virus that may cause the problem in loading the files.

i disabled the anti virus n it still dosnt work, thanks for the advice though

i was wondering does it have to do with messing with the properties like compatibility and such? Because like I said, it wont even load tpf files and it wont show up in the upper left corner.

i just realized that i dont think im using the "special.exe" file.
now, if only i knew what the hell a "special.exe" file is hahaha
