Franchise and Association

Guys I am new with NBA 2K. can anyone please help me whats the difference between association and franchise?
in nba live it has dynasty mode, which of this one is the dynasty mode in 2k?

2) the ratings of my players in Association are dropping. what should be done to increase the ratings?

3)menu - what is the purpose of "Trade Override"

sorry for my ignorance but i do hope someone can enlighten me about this.

The Association mode is compareable to Lives Dynasty although you can do a lot more in 2k9. Franchise is just the team with which you are playing.

Ratings are dropping because of Fatigue, worse morale and injuries. Increase morale by increasing playing time for the player or by assigning him new roles on the team. e.g. from Bench Warmer to Role Player.
You can see the morale of your player when you select their player card (in the rosters section)

Trade override means that when a team does not accept a trade you can fore them to do so. Although all other requirements must be met.
