Cpu mostly shoots at the end of the shot clock

Cpu mostly shoots at the end of the shot clock

Postby TC#10 on Fri Nov 07, 2008 1:35 am

Hey, have you noticed that the cpu seems to take it's time on offense and 3/4 times it seems to always shoot at the end of their shot clock? Is there anything I can do so that the cpu shoots earlier in the shot clock instead?

Thanks

Yes. And also the CPU team stars and superstars don't seem to get the ball any more than other players. Unless you're on D making a mistake, they just don't.

LeBron James last night against the Bulls turned it up in the second half and took over the game. Play a game against AI Cavs in this game. James doesn't turn it up. In fact I play locked on one guy, and generally James will score 15-20 against me.

In 10 AI vs AI games, Lakers vs Cavaliers, LeBron and Kobe each averaged about 20 PPG. In one 4th quarter with the Lakers making a run to tie from 15 down, Kobe never touched the ball.

Ya, i've also noticed this too, when i was playing against the Heat, Wade didn't take that many shots compared to Beasly. It seems that the only time when the CPU superstar takes over a game is when you are guarding him.

When Ipersonally play defence, i usually don't switch players and I am always using the point guard on defence, so therefore, the other team's superstar isn't dominating the game which is a big problem in this game

Sliders man... It's all about them, check the OS forums, there's a topic about Superstars not behaving as superstars (basically the same as this), and a guy who makes slider sets said that with his sliders he usually gets torn apart by superstars. I haven't tried them, 'cause in my laptop I can't play good (I only simulate and play blacktop...), so no guarantees, but this guy really seems to be certain and reccommend his sliders (along a lot of more users).

If you are playing on lower speed, then it's harder to get away from your defender. But if you play on higher speed, cpu usually shoots it just right and super star players take more shoots. I play mine on 70!

I haven't had this problem at all, they shoot pretty early against me.
