That doesn't have anything to do with it.
Methods:
1. Right click on the game in your Steams Games List. Select Properties. Click on "Local Files" and then verify the integrity of the game cache.
2. Exit Steam, and reopen it and try again.
3. Exit Steam. Go to Program Files/Steam and delete the two .blob files. Reopen Steam and try the game again.
This happens time to time when the Steam game cache gets messed up. Often if a game crashes or didn't exit properly.
