Practice mode without opposing team?

Is it possible to practice e.g. passing without an opposing team?
You can practice with one player in the tutorial or shoot freethrows...the passing tutorial adds five players for each team...I want to have three of my players on the court and none of an opposing team. Is this possible?

There are some tutorial videos on 2K8 which had this feature but I cannot get it to work with 2K9.

It was the standart practice in 2k8, you had all your 5 players on the court.
I don't think it's possible in 2k9 anymore.

I believe you can practice running plays with 5 players and no opposing teams...

It's a bit closer to what you want..
