Talk about NBA 2K9 here, as well as all previous games in the NBA 2K series.

I bought the game today...the controls are much more difficult than Live´s.
1) Icon pass: the tutorial says that you have to press B12 or B11...where are they? My gamepad has 10 buttons...and when I set up my controller, there are no buttons labelled 11 or 12.
2) Is it just my gamepad or are moves not accurate? Even running is difficult. Can´t a player dribble really slowly? Seems like a deadzone issue of my pad. In the tutorial Kevin Garnett moves around so quickly, even if I touch the left stick slightly. I cannot move only a few millimeters.
3) The stick seems to be inaccurate in general. When I try to make some moves, I end up doing ANYTHING most of the time. I cannot move precisely.
4) The tutorial sometimes lags whereas a normal game doesn´t. Moreover, Garnett kept running against a wall and I couldn´t do anything...had to shoot against the backboard (from behind) to regain control.
5) Any hits for dual control? This game is so damn hard. Call a play, select which player should set a screen, select which player should find an open spot...pass around...and all in 24 seconds...wow.
6) For some moves, a button must be held while moving the left stick to a certain direction...but my player does not pull off a move in this direction but dribble in this direction. My player keeps running and I cannot even determine a place on the floor to stop. It takes time to accerlate and decelerate and I cannot move precisely.
7) What camera do you use? All those fans cheering in the first row are so annoying. I cannot see the 3pt-line properly.

The moves are not accurate at times. Sometimes the players will do cross dribble or move in direction against your will. I'm not sure if the game was design this way or the inaccuracy is a lag issues due to lower PC quality. If you increase the speed of the game/players, you do gain more control over the players.

Thanks.
Posting up is strange as well. I press the button, hold it and move the stick in the direction of the defender. Sometimes, my player will post up and back down the other player but only once...one short bump, then he stops.
When I use the left stick again, nothing happens.
Once in a while, my player even stops during dribbling. I run around, he suddenly stops and I am forced to pass.

I tried another gamepad...it is really a deadzone issue. The left stick of my other gamepad reacts too quickly as well but now I can WALK a bit. Still, players start to run too easily. A fly should move the left stick for better results, not a human player.
