Good coders/programmers needed!

We patchers need some editing tools for this game. Texmod is ok for a start but something more comprehensive is necessary. An editor for the rosters would be good as well. I'm sure the biggest thing people want right now is to be able to add missing players to rosters complete with new cyberfaces. If you're a coder..what do you need to get started exactly?

FlyingFinn, the guy who has made roster editors for NFL 2k5, NHL 2k6 and I think NBA 2k6 for the xbox has the game and successfully edited a roster file I had sent him. He is currently working on an editor that can edit the PC rosters as well as do a read-only opening of 360 rosters (for living rosters).

MJ_Realm showed up in my texmod thread. I think he is looking at the iff and bin files at the moment. Shoot him a PM or something to see if he needs anything.

I haven't really tinkered with the files a lot since I can't find enough time. What I need to know is where the files are! I installed the game in Vista and can't find the directory of the bin and iff files. Im just too stressed I guess

I also need to know what compression they use, if you have an idea let me know. :p

Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\nba 2k9

All the files are located in that directory.

Would it be easier for you to find out the compression/format with the actual texture that belongs to the file?

FlyingFinn posted screens of his progress. It looks good so far.
