Where is the forum for NBA 2k9 PC?

I got the game today and it is crap too. I installed it and having the same problem as so many others. The menu and the game mode is lagging like crazy, very slow motion and useless. My cpu is very new too...Vista, AMD 64X2, 3.0Ghz, 3GB, Nvidea 8500GT. The menu is super confusing and the graphic isn't all that it was build up to be. I can't even comment on the game play becuase it's running super slow and I can't get it to work right.

It does appear to support widescreen resolution.

Other problem maybe is that you have Vista instead of XP.

The forum for NBA 2K is a subforum of the "Video Games Central" section.

From the Readme.txt-

3.5 AMD Dual Core Timing Issue
------------------------------

Some older machines that have AMD dual core processors may experience problems running the game. If you have such a system, you should first visit the AMD website and obtain the latest processor drivers. You should only install this driver if you are confident that it is appropriate for your system (i.e. you have an AMD dual core processor).

Dude, you've been slamming the game since it first came out. Don't play it. You have a bad video card and an average cpu. Of course you're going to hate it. I'd hate it too if I got 2 frames per second. But it's not the game's fault that you don't have a better machine. The menus may not be the best but the gameplay and graphics are incredible. That's what the majority of PC players have said and from the videos, it looks amazing.

What my CPU is average? I just bought it about 6 months ago. So an AMD 64X2 Dual Core Processor 6000+ 3.0 GHz with 3GB is average and not able to play this game. My windowns experince Index rating is 5.0!

Pdub, maybe you should make a fix for AMD users, if 2k sports won't do that. lol

Oh wow! A 5.0?!

The experience rating doesn't mean jack. Your CPU is average and your GPU is slow. The graphics aren't what you thought they'd be because your computer isn't good enough to run everything on the highest settings.

The Windows index is not an verage, the score typically ends out being the same as your lowest sub-score, just to show you where you could upgrade. I have 5.9 everywhere except 5.6 for my hard drive, so my overall index is 5.6.

This is a silly thread. The game is not crap and you should start with buying a decent graphics card instead of that budget 8500GT. That one's in the same tier as my old 6600GT on Tom's Hardware. Sorry dude, but it's not because it's an 8xxx card, that it's a good one these days. Buy a new card or buy and xBox 360 if you're not very technical. And, unlike a console, it's not because you buy a PC today, that it will be able to play all the games that are out. I can easily find a budget model out there that can't even run a game like Crysis without imploding. Read up on your hardware before you buy a system next time. There's a reason why PCs have a lot more older players in their demographics than consoles do.

wow is there even a 8500... I thought the 8 series started with 8600 ...man that Vcard must be really ...crap...well 8600 is what more is that...

You should buy at least the 9600 if ur on budget...srsly or choose ATI for cheaper yet almost the same quality
