Graphic Setting Definition

Postby TC#10 on Thu Oct 23, 2008 2:23 am

Hey I was wondering what is the definition of "MSAA"?

Since i have the minimum requirements for the game, I have set the details to either medium or low settings and was wondering if "MSAA" will increase the quality of the game? or does it make the game run smoother?

And, is there something i can do to make the game smoother? I've set the resolution to 640x480 already but was wondering what else i can do...

IT means multisampling antialising

which provide greater performance when >>>>"antaliasing is enable"
if you disable your antaliasing u don't need to touched this ;)

what's your specs??

I have ATI Radeon x1400 (128 RAM)

What do you mean greater performance? like the game will look better? or the game will not lag as much?

I've noticed that if i put MSAA x6 it lags more than x4 and that x4 looks better than x2, so i'm sticking with x4 for MSAA...

no, it will run smoother>>> if ever your video card can support antialiasing

MSAA is a type of antialiasing ok>>> this one is developed to "optimized the technique used for antialiasing which is SUPERSAMPLING=SSAA"

enabling anitaliasing will make the game look better(it smoothens the edges of objects) but it costs graphics card power - so it can cost you fps.

ya after hours of experimenting with the graphic setting MSAA, i can verify this... the lower it is the smoother the gameplay but there's more jagged edges.

hey, does anyone know how to reduce the amount of lagging during the tip off and free-throw scenario? I can barely get the first shot in for the free-throw cause it's so slow. But during normal gameplay it's smooth...

My crowd detail is on Low

Is there anyway to get the player to shoot automatically during free throws like in LIVE 0

oh ok, i've tried that but does that mean you still have to time it and let go of the button at the top of the release still? or can you release any time and the free throw will go in depending on the player's percentage?
