NBA2K on PS3?

A friend downloaded the demo version of NBA2K for PS3. The graphics are not as good as Live 08's but the gameplay is better.

BUT: how do you fake, how do you do crossovers etc.? The right analog stick was completely useless. Nothing happened.

Is this only in the demo version of 2K8? We could just pass the ball around and take shots but couldn't use freestyle moves...no crossovers, no backing down etc.

I had the demo on the 360 before I bought the game.
I don't know wheter the controls on the 360 are the same, but I could do everything you mentioned.
The only thing that was cut in the demo was calling plays and do coaching stuff via the D-Pad.


The right analog stick is the shot stick (PS3 controls?) which I first thought is dumb, but I now i can't live without it.

Doing a pump-fake is like in NBA Live. Either press the shot button shortly or just nudge the shot stick.

You can back down with L2.

You can do crossovers with the new Isomotion. You can try it with holding RT (R2 on Ps3) and just jiggle the left analog stick.

on Ps3:

for the fake, press the round and move the left analog stick.

for the crossovers move the left analog stick or the round.

the right analog stick is assigned for the shot. nothing else.
