Just out of curiousity is there a way to add a mugshot for a created player in 2k8?

Yes you can add a mugshot, but they have to get arrested first. Make sure you set their personality to unpredictable and their stealing rating to 99. Keep their speed and quickness low so they can't run away from the cops.
