Talk about NBA 2K9 here, as well as all previous games in the NBA 2K series.

I've backed down a couple times, but it doesn't happen immediately. After initiating the post up move, you press the backdown button again, and I believe you also press towards the defender with the left stick at the same time. They only take two steps at a time. It doesn't always work, and sometimes you actually get pushed back by the defender.

I'm talking about the unofficial .exe file. if ppl don't use the official .exe, they won't experience the same gameplay changes we are having with the patch.

Realistic enough for me so small players can't backdown taller ones

How i can download this patch ?
Thu Jan 15, 2009 10:06 pm
just try starting the game from its official Steam client and it will automatically update with the new additions and dunk packs.

What do you think? Better without the Official patch and continue with the patchable unofficial .exe or continue with the official patch with added bugs.
Weird.
But still Kudos for 2KSports!
Never thought they'd value their PC customers/market.

Is there any way to download it ? I can't update it via steam, because of the internet connection, it's very slow...

Gotta go through steam, just start it and let it go overnight/at work/at school/wacking it

As far as i know some player models have been updated, is there any problem when overwriting an .iff file (for a face update) after getting the patch or do the updated models still work?
I just want to know if there is any kind of conflict or something else.

Finally got the patch.

In the morning speed was about 15 kbps, but later I had 500 kbps.
I'll check it out later.

One big bug... 2k reduced all-star domination way too much... I played a 12 min quarter against the Lakers and Kobe just shot 2 times....
Sorry about the english

I am the only one with no textures for shoes. The patch has removed some shoe textures. They are totally white.

They gave Louis Amundson the dreaded Forehead of Doom. Lazy programmers couldn't take the time to make the few cyberfaces for the players they added.

I have this problem too. If you go in to edit player and change their shoe it will revert back to normal. We'll have to make an updated roster to fix this.

i have a question regarding the update....if i shut down the computer midway, does it support a "Resume
"? or do i have to start at 0% again?

I have also noticed that player rating does not adjust accordinally anymore. I've tried getting flip murry's rating to be higher than claxton so that he would be sub in first and increased a bunch of his skill but his rating remains at 73.

did the generic pictures get replaced with some white guy?
example joel anthony's (heat) picture at the starting five screen is now a white guy.
