Huh?

what I meant was, if I have to choose between Live and 2k, I would choose Live over 2k. That being said, I've never play 2k before so I dont have an impression of what it's like but my first impression of Live is better than 2k. ;)

WTF modifly you never played 2k bball :?: WOOOOW    Dude you don't know what your missing

Lemme put it this way my opionion, when i last played a 2k game (2K6) it's wayyyyy better than 08

And i totally understand why you perfer Live over 2K (for now  )
You'll find out what i mean when u get ur hands on a 2k bball game :)

Sam The Man wrote:If you go to http://www.esrb.org/ratings/search.jsp and search for ''NBA 2K9" then it comes up with it for Windows PC. And as you can see from my screen shot, its in the same platforms as the Xbox 360 and PS3, while the PS2 is separate, meaning if they are right, the PC version would be a current gen port (same as 360/ps3)

That's exactly What i meant :D

You get one. (Or Logitech Dual Analog if you want to pay only $15.)

Do you not use freestyle in your Live? I will posit that only lunatics still use keyboard for "console games" in this day and age.

Why couldn't it? (Assuming it's not a shoddy port.)

Still doubt the reliability of the sources but if this is gonna be true, I'm sure more and more EA Sports fans will play NBA 2K games since the only advantage NBA Live series has over NBA 2K Series is that it has a PC version each year(except for NBA Live 2009).

Like 2K themselves?

GameStop - meaningless, wrong endlessly.
ESRB - same, as tons of companies register things they aren't actually putting out.

2K themselves - likely reliable.
A registered UPC - also reliable, you can't sell something in stores without a UPC.

This is one of the reasons why they never ported a PC version before, nobody was willing to upgrade if it was a 360 port.

IF you can run BIOSHOCK/CRYSIS on medium settings, i'm 99% sure u can run it :D

IF you can run ASSASIN's CREED on whatever setting  i'm 1000% sure u can run it :D

i'm 1,000,000 % sure that 2k will target every type of PC gamers , from mainstream to enthusiast to high end video gamers.

remember this is there first release of 2k basketball on pc without any competetion, it would be "PRACTICAL" for 2k comp to target a large amount of pc gamers to increase its popularity ON PC> :D

BTW try to look for FIFA 09 sytem requirements, its an NG port so it might give some idea on how your computer will fair

I doubt they consider it a problem anymore. The 360 is three year old technology. You can buy a PC that can run Crysis for $400. Etc.

With EA out of the market, and the ease to do a 360 port, I'm going to say they decided this was the time to see if there's a market out there for it. If they make any profit off of it, I'll assume we'll continue to see it even when EA comes back into the market. And like in the past, when there's a legitimate threat, EA takes PC more seriously.

JaoSming wrote:again (if) the game will be on PC it will most likely be supported by some members of this community and I dont see any reason why we wouldn't support additional members. However, due to new file types and most likely unmoddable files at first there is no need to create new sections and such. Patches would go in this forum and 2k dynasty stories can go in the other video games story section.

Exactly; we'll be waiting and seeing what happens before we look at expanding this section and the like.

(Y) Got a Geforce GO 7400 can run Crysis/Bioshock on low  but it is playable, no lag (kinda) My point is IDC about the graphics i just want gameplay as long as I can play the game with no lag im good :D

PS: I tried playing Assassins Creed, it work, but when it loads the game my screen goes pitch black (My friend bought the game so I borrowed his DVD)

I will harken to say that the kid doesn't like benji period. Since he "put a person down" by making sense?

Somebody else in this thread talked about porting the ps2 version. That wouldn't be a good thing beyond the obvious subpar graphics. The AI controls and sheer animation content are also powered with the 360/ps3's chipset and memory in mind. A port of the last-gen version would yeild an overall subpar game. If they were to do such a thing...I wouldn't even bother with the game.

I don't know about you guys but I bought an xbox 360 for 400 euros just for this game, if it ever comes to the pc with next gen graphics I would just be the happiest person alive. The only thing that I didn't like about 2k8 was the jaggies who can be solved in pc by elevating resolution and putting AA/AF, adn the fact you couldn't create teams and leagues, imagine a mod with international teams or euroleague teams, best thing ever. But I'm still not really confident, to many times has someone proclaimed this to just end up being fake.
