NBA 2K9 System Requirements-Can I run the Game?

i just got my game and i can run the game with player details in ultra high, medium sideline, medium crowd with no lag...DOF on....and you can ask other settings that you wanna know...

my specs:

Intel Core2Duo 2.20GHz
2gb Ram
Radeon X1950Pro 512Mb


great game....still learning the controls (isomotion) though coz i haven't played 2k nba since my ps2 days...and eventhough that sucked i loved 2k during that time...

I was actually surprised how smothly it ran on my computer - I have a single core 2,8 processor, 2 gb RAM, and a Gforce 7800 GT. It is running very smoothly on medium settings (I have a few things like crowd and bench players on low, so I can have player detials on high).

I love it when programmers manege to make their fancy-looking games run, even on older machines, Crysis being the best example - even though it is made up to be one of the best looking and most demanding games of all time, it still runs and looks amazing on low setings on my machine.

guys sorry if it's a stupd question but I am buying a new computer with GeForce 9400 GT , I think it's supports pixel shader 3.0 but I am not sure so does it??

No, it should already have a bunch of cables coming out of it that plug into your other computer components, like I stated before.

Don't ever open up the inside of a power supply there are potentially lethal voltages inside. Even several minutes after they are powered down, they can store a charge that could kill you. See preparation guide

I think you should look for the closest store or shop that you can take your computer to and have them hook it up for you if you feel you didn't do it correctly.

i appreciate all the advice thanks i wontopen it but where i get confused is my cpu doesnt already have a added in graphics card it has an intergrated one and i do see the wires coming out of the power supply but following each line i do not see any spots where those prongs would fit but i think i will take it to a store cuz i mos def am missing something. even though i did not install it i would not have been able to get as far as i hd witout u and kris so thx again ill let u guys know how it turns out

yikes, definitely need an upgrade suggest get AMD processor and 9600 gt or higher video card. u will be maybe to play but at low settings such as 640x480 res,all low settings texture medium, depth of field off,reflection on,shader quality high.

yes i should be able to run ultra high but fps will be 30. best to get around 60 fps.

it was stated already that amd processors might have trouble. best thing i could tell you is get the latest drivers.
