Tada here comes my proof of concept. If you search youll find pretty much anything is moddable but CF´s are not compatible since they look way off. Just look here:

there is no tool yet that can edit the games files, instead, temporarily, we have to use texmod which intercepts the textures as they are being shown. Those textures can then be replaced.

Anything to open the rosters like in live. I know with live you can open it with excel. That doesnt work here.

Anyone here familiar with GIMP? It's basically a free open-source Photoshop type of program. Anyway I have seen some Maya .IFF editor plugins for it on line but have't got gotten them to install properly. Maybe someone with more experience with GIMP could figure them out.

Or even someone with Photoshop. I have seen plugins for it as well for Maya .IFF files.

I can't get Texmod to work. Not for any game I have. Is there any reason why it wouldn't work with Windows XP Pro?

JaoSming, any idea how to get the numpad buttons to work on a laptop? Coz laptop doesnt come with the numpad so I dunno how to select those textures as mentioned in ur tutorial :roll:

with all laptops you can press and hold a button that will turn certain keys into the numpad while you have it held down

And I believe that key is labelled "Fn" for most laptop.

if i went to run the packge (like xbox 360 icons) i have to run the game all the time with TEXTMOD?

the 2nd question is if runing the game like this as any affect on the game...?

yep, right now we always will have to start the game with texmod

also there should be no other effect on the game besides your replaced textures
