ConfigSys: there are no stat overlay's during the game, I realized that earlier and it's bothering me. I haven't seen any at all through about 10 games unless I AM shooting free throws.

.

that's too bad

the game never will be real

until we can see stats during the game...

Good stuff on the answers, nice to hear that the court texture is actually worse in the demo.

As you probably missed my question in the edited post, here is it again:

Do CAPs still look awfully red all over the face?
With the Living Rosters CAPs should get less important this year anyway, but it's just ugly on ficitonal players.

Looks like game is too good! (Y) BTW is it possible to play 29 games dynasty? I remember that in live 08, 07 you needed to play all 82 games(too long for me), but in 06 you can start dynasty with 29 games in it. How about 2k9? :)

yep, we can play 29, 58, or the full 82 game seasons in the association mode
Opinions are my own.

There's not many overlays, mostly during free throws.

I've looked around and read a lot of impressions of the game and people have said the cameras have some shotty frame-rate problems? Is it just the 2k angle or is it more then that? I use the baseline low one, but i hate when the game skips around lol.

Great. Having only 82 games was one reason I stopped playing it.

There used to be one in 2k7 but was replaced by Blacktop in 2k8. And is there a baseline camera?

Is it different from Lives, so like you can do Between the legs, crossovers, many other things on PS and Xbox, but not on PC ?

What do you mean? It will be the same as 2k9 on the xbox360. Isomotion moves are performed by holding the right trigger and moving the left analog stick.

Just get a gamepad for $15 bucks.

Really pissed that Thrustmaster changed their gamepad. Their Firestorm Dual Analog was perfect for NBA Live. Their current gamepad has two less shoulder buttons. Need at least a 10 button joystick to get the full operation for 2k9.

I have a question. I know we can always do roster updates, but I am just curious what the Lakers roster is since they have so many rookies and all and need to cut 5 spots counting Ira Newble's spot. I'm sure he's gone, but he is officially not gone yet and still on the Lakers website roster. Ok, they just announced waiving Dwayne Mitchell. So who's on the game?

Everyone who was on the team (ie. had signed a contract) before the cut-off date. I would be betting that the only rookies on the team would have been the one we drafted in the draft.

Doob, are there lane violations? NBA Live 08 was retarded; they didn't even allow the guys to get rebounds and step into the lane for 10 seconds after the free throw.

Also, people stop asking stupid questions like whether or not 2k9 has Yao Ming's mustache modeled correctly. Who gives a damn and even if you do, these things can be updated. There was an interview with the game producers and I nearly pulled my hair out when some dipshit caller called in and asked how many teams were in the game. You gotta be kidding right? Forget the gameplay and the one-on-one moves and the AI and the graphics. Just focus on the shoes and the superficial garbage. Wow, how old are these people?

Kinda like this retard:

Apu: He is the benevolent and enlightened president and C.E.O. of
Kwik-E-Mart -- and in Ohio, Stop-O-Mart. He is the one we must
ask for my job back.
Master: Approach, my sons. You may ask me three questions.
Apu: That's great, because all I need is one --
Homer: Are you _really_ the head of the Kwik-E-Mart?
Master: Yes.
Homer: Really?
Master: Yes.
Homer: You?
Master: Yes. I hope this has been enlightening for you.
Apu: But I must --
Master: Thank you, come again.
Apu: But --
Master: Thank you, come again.

Thankfully, most of the questions in this post are actually legitimate.
