actually this is a 360 port, so it can't be much worse than the 360 version. probably it won't work well on my pc, my system specs are just a little more than minimum requirements. :(

buzzy, just checked a local store. No PC version yet, but XBOX 360 cost 799 EEK (80$, 52 euros)

Another store had 2K8, PS3 for $85 :D

Wed Oct 22, 2008 4:20 am

Yeah, well I paid 60€ (which is pretty much 80$) for my 360 copy too, but what I wanted to say is that the PC version is going to cost 20-30 $.

not in Latvia. Fuck , Latvia is a bitch

Wed Oct 22, 2008 4:41 am

PC FIFA 09 cost just as much as 2K9 XBOX 360. I'm hoping they change the price on 2K9 PC

el badman, my friend, where did you get the game from ?

Got me confused with someone else there, cuz I sure don't have it...I called every single store that could possibly have the game and still nothing...But considering the CD activation fiasco, that may be better that way for now.
yes you really need an internet to install this game since it needs a steam activation

I may be wrong but I don't think Steam has anything to do with that, it's just a standard online activation kind of thing. Like benji, I do wish that Steam could have it, that'd be much much simpler...

Took some random ones while running it in a window.

Jameer Nelson threw a really bad pass, Jermaine O'Neal missed the intercept and Lewis missed the alleyoop completely.

Incredible. How does your system run it at 1920x1200 and what are your video card, cpu specs?

Core 2 Quad @ 3.1 GHz
4 GB RAM
Radeon HD4870
HP 24" Widescreen TFT

runs smooth at 40-60frames/second

Will hit the stores as soon as possible, but I probably wont find 2K9 PC in Estonia. And even if I do, it will cost about $90. ( 899 .- in EEK)

Wtf lol, even xbox version doesn`t cost that mutch :)
It will be 399.- = about 39$

i can't even start a game at 640x480 and lowest detail; i have a pentium 4 550 HT processor (3.4ghz), 1gb ram and a nvidia 6600 gt.
i get a blue sreen every time and have to restart my computer. is it a normal thing or not?

maybe you need the newest drivers for your card

looks like a PS2 game with everything on Low, no lie.

Thu Oct 23, 2008 12:05 pm

Nah, it's way better than the PS2 version. Looks closer to the Xbox versions.

Here are the lowest settings at 800x600:

thanks for the screenies on low settings, benji. (Y)

i dont mind playing on medium without lags if the gameplay blows live out of the water.
