3 minute timer on x360 online ranked (long funny story)

I'm sure most of you who have the console version have either had the timer run out on you in a ranked game or have won a game because it ran out on your opponent right?

A week ago I pick the blazers and this obvious cheeser decides on the cavaliers. I say ok...so i pick the celtics cause I knew I wouldn't have any hope of stopping lebron so i figured i'd stop the rest of the cavs like i have in the past and win the game. During the game this guy could not hit a jumper with anyone..especially james so ofcourse he keeps slamming it down with james. I do the same with garnett..cause turn about is fair play...but atleast i also hit 3 pointers with ray allen/rondo/pierce and the rest.

Throughout the game..i have the lead...even as much as 15 points but he kept comming back into the game. One time i got so angry that I kept looping a garnett replay dunk on him. He then pauses the game for like 2 minutes...and goes off to do something (take your guess as to what!). He comes back and just as the game is almost over he decides to hit 3 pointers. Delonte west hits two 3's in my face contested..and lebron hits a 3 with 1 second left in the game to send it to overtime. My jaw hit the friggin floor!

Now i'm mad....so i figured i'd bait this moron by replaying every shot i make..and replaying every missed shot he gets. We went back and forth throughout the overtime period doing this to each other. With a few seconds left in the game....it's tied up and i'm about to dunk when he steals it and does a break away jam with lebron! The game is lost to me until the moron decides to gloat and replay the dunk...and what do you know...HIS TIMER RUNS OUT!!

He texts me after the game calling me a little bi-tch....so i text him back with equally degrading insults. It was the sweetest victory i've ever had in this game.

That's some funny shit. Did he play full court D the whole game too? I hate that.

This does not sound like fun. I play for a realistic game not a win. Can't play 2k9 online but Pro Evolution Soccer has similar problems. There are also some kids that take the same team each game with a player that can score at will. Or they just use the lag cheat...then your game freezes and the next thing you see is that your opponent has scored a goal in the meantime.

I do not play against kids that only want to push their number of wins.

Did he play full court D the whole game too? I hate that.

Why? It's part of the game to play pressing D.

Yes it is ...but not all game long from the first tip off to the final buzzer. Yes of course he played full court D but 2k camera and spin moves help me get away from chumps like that.
