How to assign players from 2k team to any nba team?

Hello,
I've got this code, you enter "2ksports" and get 2K Sports team in the game. Since CAP is crap, i figured out it would be cool to asign one of the players of that team to one of the nba teams. I just want to do that. However, although you can assign to different teams players from 80s or 60s stars, you cannot do that with players from this 2k sports team. Why? Anyway, my big question is: is there any way to move a player from 2k sports team to any nba team?
Note that I have both PC and xbox360 version of the game and the solution on one of these platforms would be fine.
