hi, im buying a new system since my old system dont work. im deciding between 3 new systems.
i wanted to know if these systems would run NBA 2K9?

AMD Turion 64 X2 RM-70
2.0 GHZ
NVIDIA GeForce 8200M with up to 1407MB
160GB hard drive

would NBA 2k9 on that system work great, good, ok or not at all?

or how about this system

1. and 3. should perform very well, but how many RAM do these systems have? The 2nd is notebook so Im not sure but looks good

i'm not sure if you're the person from last night about wanting to run the game on 1280x768.

if u plan on run it on that res, those systems should be able to run the game in medium in 1280x768 with ok but not great fps. it should be playable.

if you want to max out the game and get the most out of it, this is not even close.

game requires at least 2.4ghz Dual core to be able to run the motion jerseys properly. 2GB of ram at least and 8800GT and above should be able to max out the game

Of course you don't need to do any overclocking with a system like that, it'll run everything on max settings. Come one man

What is your monitor's dimensions? 17" , 22" , or what?
That 4870 with 1gb. memory isn't needed for medium resolutions such as 1280*1024. So if you have a 17" LCD, you will not be able to set resolution above 1280*1024. Then go buy a 4870 with 512mb. memory and invest your money to suitable hardwares.

BTW, you will also need a minimum of 500 - 560 watt PSU to get the maximum performance and stability. Do not forget to choose known and quality brands for the PSU.

yes,yes, i'm buying lg 22'' monitor... first i thought about 512mb radeon, but they recommended me this because of my wish of playing on high resolutions and 22 inches monitor.

e8400 is more than enough for CPU
4870 is wayy more than enough for the GPU

to run the game at max

yes it can run in max settings and also since you have a 1gb vc might as well buy a 22 inch monitor to get the best performance of your vc

this is kinda stupid question.. but do you think i will be able to play 2k10 on max without overclocking too?

after 2 years of playing on this conf, i plan to buy one more hd4870 and overclock e8400 to 4,4.2 ghz to gain maximum of it.

I have 4GB of 800Mhz and certainly don't have to complain about it. With the rest of your system, it's not like you need slightly faster RAM.
