COULD SOMEONE POST LIKE A MEGA PACK OF TEXTURES???

I KNOW THAT MANY PEOPLE ARE EXCITED ABOUT PATCHING THE TEXTURES IN THE GAME, BUT I WAS WONDERING IF SOMEBODY COULD MAYBE POST MEGA PACKS OF THE BASIC TEXTURES LIKE JERSEYS, SHOES, BALL, ETC.

I KNOW THAT IT MAY TAKE A WHILE BUT IT WILL BE A GOOD SOURCE FOR FUTURE PATCHING.....

I don't see this happening. If I'm not mistaken Texmod will only work if the user who takes advantage of the textures uses the same graphic settings that the one who created them.

For instance, if I create a package of a jersey texture it will only work for people who play in 800x600 with all settings set on low (yes... I play in my laptop with a NVidia 7000GS... not good, but at least playable).

If you think of the amount of combinations it's quite difficult to make a pack. The only case I see this working is to make a pack for all textures in 1280x960 with all settings in maximum.

^^^^^I play on my laptop (because I always on the go) and I can play all my settings on medium (plus I hate how the textures look on high, the jerseys look dumb with all those holes) but most of the patches I seen released work if your settings are on medium or high, no matter the resolution, sorry for any of you who's computer can't handle it ......

Yup not possible. Textures variate from .exe and texture quality. The best way would be to upload the textures and the tpf so that everybody can log if necessary

What kind of graphic card does your laptop have?? Because I doubt you could play with those settings with a NVidia 7000GS, I play with everything on low and it gets real laggy when it comes to the intro and the free throws (that's 'cause of the crowd).

Besides the card I've got 2GB RAM and a AMD Athlon 64 X2 1.66 Ghz (3.2 Ghz). I don't play real games with this settings (cause of the lag), I normally simulate and play blacktop (no crowd = no lag...).

^^^I'm not sure but my resolution allow me to put everything on medium, I think its the lowest resolution possible, may same like the game loses quality but still looks fine to me and I only have 1gb of memory, resolution is what hurts your computer, and yeah the crowd does cause lag so I cut them off when I dont feel like bothering with them, I actually have no lag when playing my game maybe your computers just slow or your resolution is too high!!!

On the other hand, this was only a suggestion, I should be releases some of my ideas very soon, and I though it'll be cool if someone release like a mega pack or something that's all....
