2K9 PC preferred gamepad

Anyone know if there is a way to disable the keyboard as your main controller. It keeps loading my profile to the keyboard and it is really annoying to switch it every time I run the game.

nope, mine (thrustmaster) are also not working...

Were you able to get it working? I have a firestorm dual analog too. If not, what are you using now?

They don't make it anymore but you might be able to get it on Ebay. Most comfotable controller ever made. With rubber grip surface for when you're sweating and your hands get slippery.

I have the same controller, but i can't use the left analog stick even though it works fine with every other videogame. how can i fix it? i have to play with my keyboard at the moment and it sucks.

Just got the wireless reciever today, the game to me plays better with the 360 control. Only thing is the icon passing symbols. Jao, care to release your 360 icon controls patch? I see the tutorial but if you've already got it made for 360 users, could we just download?

That's really weird. When you go to Control Panel > Game Controllers> Calibrate, does your left analog stick work?

Try hitting the middle button on the face of the controller which disables/enables the analog sticks.

Something with the controller configuration in 2k9?

Other than that, not sure what you can do other than to buy a $15 controller.

(I don't have the game yet so I don't know.)

I have the same problem, with my logitech wingman... just that the game does not recognize the right stick...
I guess the only way to fix this, would be editing the file, where nba 2k saves the controller configuration...
but I have no idea how to do this!

I know there was a similar problem with Fifa 08, and somebody fixed it by editing the dat file where the controller configuration is saved...

yes, it works in calibrate mode. let's try again and mess with settings, i hope it's going to work because the game is almost impossible to be played with keyboard.
