NBA 2k9 WILL be on PC

There seems to be a lot of contradictions as far as the PC release date. A lot of websites are listing it for 11/3, others (like Gamestop) list it for next week. But I went to a Gamestop right now and they didn't have it as "ordered" in their database. They knew it exists for PC but they had nothing showing that the game would be even shipped to their store and released on 10/21, so I couldn't even pre-order it.
I feel like doing like Cartman and freezing myself until the game is out for PC...

well fellos, it seems to me that 2k is having some difficultys with the pc version....
everybody are wondering why there's no demo/screens/videos...
well they just don't have the game yet....
i belive that they are making it and it's not complete yet and that they're experiencing some problems, that needs to be fixed...

i say, give them time! Better have a great game few weeks later,
than a very very broken one a bit earlier....

If it's coming out Friday and Tuesday, it has to be done.

Why does anyone need screenshots or videos? It's a 360 port. Look at those. It'll be like that. At a higher resolution.

And you guys are all aware it takes time to construct a demo, right? You have to go through and strip everything out without breaking it.

I emailed EB the other day, 'cause 3 different Melbourne stores had all said they have absolutely no record of 2k9 PC DVD anywhere on the system. This is the reply I got,

Dude, I don't know where you get your perception that an extra week or two is going to make a difference. If they're going to distribute it on Tuesday, it's already gone gold and is sitting on warehouse shelves. You're telling me that right now, they're putting last minute touches and then printing off 10 million CD's, packaging them, and distributing them to the four corners of the world? Are you insane?

Ideally I'll buy the game online direct to drive. D2D aren't listing the product. Anyone have a lead on where to buy for delivery by download?

well that online install activation thingy is being run by steam, so I'm pretty sure Steam will offer a download purchase
