From my only experience with a player with a morale of 0, you cannot increase it. You have to trade them or release them. I love the comment, his agent said "My client thinks you are the worst GM in the league" or something like that.
I have had success with this-
5 starters (80 rating or more)
1 sixth man (80+ but lower than 85)
4 role players (Lower than 80, higher than 75)
2 bench warmers / prospects (Lower than 75)
You can also do 4 starters and 2 sixth men and get away with that.
Role players need atleast 10 minutes a game to keep happy. Don't practice too much as it will increase their ratings too much and they will think they are hot shit and their morale will go down if they don't get more time.
When the bench warmers get their rating above 75, they start to complain. Some guys above an 80 rating will not accept anything below being a sixth man, some want to start. Most of it depends on their overall rating and their attitude.
You can increase Ariza's morale a bit, but it may only be temporary. You will have to give him a better role, and then keep changing his role while viewing his player card, but changing it's lower description each time. It's kind of cheating since you can cancel the role change if it tells you his morale "worsened," while accpeting it if his morale "improved." Although, you do have a limited amount of role changes.
Welcome to Association mode and trying to keep you team happy and together.
Also, that photo is so small I can't see anything, even when I click on it.
