HAIR STYLES WITH IFF EDITOR?

can anyone show or tell me how? the tutorial didnt really show me

first, dont bump up your thread after only 12 hours, remember people have jobs or sleep during those times

second, you need to be more specific, do you want to just change the texture? because that is done with the iffeditor and photoshop or gimp, if you want to change the 3D part of the CF, it gets a bit more difficult but there is an in depth tutorial for that as well.

well i think i would like to do both as i would like to be able to lengthen or shorten someone's hair example being allen iverson's rows
for iff i opened the iff but there didn't seem to be any definate cornrows to alter
i would also like to know how to put hair on someone....i.e. i'm trying to put cornrows on jermaine o'neal
if you did have any info that would help i would appreciate it :)

right now you will need to look at a few threads that talk about the ebo or 3dmax way of editing 3D CFs. what you are asking has been done, but it fairly complicating requiring hex work

try searching the 2k sections to find the threads if they aren't already stickied at the top of sections

Okay man. listen, read pdub's tutorial carefully. then here's what you do, take the first 70F8 of Jermaine O'Neals vertex data, then overwrite the first 70F8 vertex data of a guy with cornrows (Ex. Carmelo). Then import JO's textures into Carmelo's iff. Rename Carmelo's iff to JO's iff. The headshape will be a little wrong. You can fix it with 3ds max 9 by reading the stickied tutorial on the patching releases and previews.
