Do you play Nba 2k9 with gamepad?

Hi all 
I bought logitech rumblepad 2, and I wonder is this game better played with gamepad. And which gamepad do you use. Until now I played with Keyboard and it will take some getting used to on gamepad. What do you think is the advantage of using gamepad?
