can anyone please explain to me the concept of hard cap? I know the salary cap but I dont understand what the hard cap means.thanks

You expenses for the salaries cannot go over that value. When you're signing your own players to renew their contract, if the offered salary is going to exceed the hard cap, you can't sign them.
