Homecourt Advantage

Sat Feb 07, 2009 12:32 pm

So, how ridiculous is homecourt advantage in this game? It literally is like to the point where it is impossible to win as the away team. I'll be the home team and win by 30 points and then the next game I will be the away team and lose by 30 -- missing wide open layups and dunks in the process. My friend who has never played the game before even beats me by at least 15 when he is the home team. Has anyone else noticed this phenomenon? It gets to be quite ludicrous sometimes.

hmmm not for me if youll just execute team plays very well then its impossible for you to loose but i do notice a decrease in fg % when i am the away team

Same here. I find it more easy to win on the road.

If you're playing against a friend not the CPU then the User sliders for the home team and the CPU sliders are actually for the away team, therefore if your sliders differ for User/CPU then playing at home will give you as big advantage as you have over the CPU :P
