Creating Player Crash

i hope someone will help me...everytime i will type the first name of my created player the game exits. no error message or whatsoever, it just exits after typing the first name and pressing enter. T_T

Have you tried different names? Tried not pressing enter, but a different button? Is this a normal created player or MY player?

yes sir. at first, i was trying to make a "michael jordan" player and thought that his name was the reason of crashing but i was wrong. i do not know what is a normal created player and my player, sir. i am sorry. >.<

A "MY player" is the player you are creating for that game mode, the one that you will be controlling. A regular created player is one that can be used in quick games/season/association modes.

2k9 has MY PLAYER?

Ah, didn't notice this was the 2K9 section. No, 2K9 does not have the My Player mode.

I have the same problem.

The game also exits when I'm trying to edit existing player names.

It's because you downloaded one of those rosters. Those rosters are messed up somehow. None of them work for me.
