Lagging when playing at Dallas, Washington & Denver?

Tue Mar 17, 2009 7:01 am

Hey guys, I've been playing NBA 2K9 on my laptop for some time now and I've noticed that the gameplay lags considerably when playing away at Dallas,Washington & Denver. I know my laptop is not the greatest and I play in "Windows mode" but I do not experience lagging when playing on courts other than the 3 mentioned. I've also downloaded new courts for those teams above to try to fix the problem but that was not the solution.

Does anyone else experience that and does anyone know a solution to this problem? Thanks

My experience is that lag depends on cameras and courts, too. One cam is just fine while another one has slight lag with the same graphics settings.

I am pretty sure that the Dallas court does not run as smoothly as other courts. I had the same problem but don`t know a way to solve it. Could it be reflections? Different courts have different types of reflections. I switched them off as everything`s too bright for my taste and I cannot concentrate on the action. Nevertheless, I think that some courts still have a worse performance than others.

Yes totally agree that some courts causes lag (Dallas, Washington, Denver) while the rest are smooth. I have reflection off, and crowd low and downloaded courts that ppl made but it still lags.
