How to Install Patch?

Hello,

How to install patch in NBA 2K9? The way I do is I just copy the patch to the NBA 2k9 directory.
e.g. The file "s004.iff" I just copy it directly in the directory "X:\Program Files\NBA 2K9" but nothing happens.
I've already download the IFF Tool...

dont need to the iff tool

the directory of NBA 2k9 should be C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\nba 2k9

JaoSming, Sir I don't have this "C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\nba 2k9" because I installed it on my partition drive at D:\... So where can I find the location?, or do I need to reinstall my NBA 2K9?

The only directory I have is this "C:\Documents and Settings\Nunuy\Application Data\2K Sports\NBA 2K9" with subfolders "cache" and "saves". When I install the patch at "cache folder" does the patch will show?

I install my 2K9 in my slave drive because on the master drive it's for the important and needed software.

then just do a search on the other harddrive for "nba2k9.exe" or "s004.iff" and it will find it

the application data path is for saves and settings only

JaoSming, Sir too bad for me, I did the search just what you said but there's really the needed directory. Is this the time to reinstall my 2k9 from the C:\ hard drive?

Right now I'm installing the patch on the D:\ directory looking for changes..

do you have a desktop shortcut to the game? just right click that and click properties then find target...

that should lead you to the folder

Sir JaoSming I think the place where I install he patch is working because I noticed when I install the new melo face with new haircut it shows in the game, If i'm not mistaken the default hair of melo is conrows right? And another one is the color of his head is too brownish from his arms that look dull, so I think the patch is working. But still thank you for your time answering my question and for patience. I will still try to do your last post because I didn't try it right from this moment.
