A Little Help Plz

Sorry i feel like such a newb writing this but how exactly to you get these patches on to the game like how can i do it??? from laptop to game?? do i need to save files on disc or something....like im really lost....i been trying to find a carmelo with his haircut and A good looking MJ and now that ive found its like i cant because I dont even know the basics on how to download patches and put it on the game......If anybody can assist PLZ??????
