Installing 2k9

I can't seem to install my 2k9 when it always occur a problem whenever it's close to finish the setup process..
And when I try to open the game here what it says:
"This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix the problem."

But I've already try to reinstall the game many times, but it keeps me getting the same problem...

I have too this problem!
Have you already fix this problem???

i havent heard of this before, you should try calling 2k's tech support
