How do you dive?

stupid Q... i haven't played 2k9 in a while

I use a 360 controller and i think it's X right? There was loose ball and i held RT+X and my player didn't dive. The ball was also going out of bounds and i also held RT+X and nothin happened.

Do i just press X?

i think the steal button is how you dive...sometimes it's just automatic if you run after the loseball and you press steal...

it's just the same...run after the ball while pressing the steal button...your player will dive....it's not advisable though coz diving is injury prone...even jumping high for a rebound is injury prone in this game...hehe

thx for the heads up and charges can get a player injuried as well
