Questions about trading and contracts

hey all

1) my backup pf just got injured and i decided i wanted to sign PJ Brown (FA). I always see in the NBA, 10 day contracts. Is there a way to issue 10 day contracts in game?

2) I have seen players traded for a 1st/2nd round pick and cash considerations.
Is there a way to do this in game?

that would have been a very useful feature (10 day contracts) didnt they have one in the older NBA Lives? I think I remember seeing that before

no i know you can trade picks, i just need to know if you can trade a player only for a pick and cash
