Texmod Help Request

Hey guys,

Glad to be part of the NLSC forums here. A lot of great information and awesome community.

My question is in regards to Texmod. I have read over the tutorial about 100 times already to see what exactly I am doing wrong and cannot find the answer. I start up Texmod, change over the format to PNG/F5 for logging. I choose my nba2k9.exe from steamapps/common/nba2k9/nba2k9.exe. I then proceed and click Run. The game launches but this is where Texmod does not seem to do anything for me. I have no text in the upper left hand corner to show that the program is even running. When I hit F5, obviously nothing logs. Now, I have no firewalls/anti virus programs running and use Windows XP/DX9. Is there anything that I am missing here? I would also like to add when I use someone else .tpf to add faces/controller buttons under Package Mode, nothing shows up after I hit Run and play the game. Any help would be appreciated!! I read it again, and again, and again...it looks like I am not the only one having the problem either. Appreciate the helpful response.

I am not using the steam.exe to load up the game with Texmod. I am using the nba2k9.exe from the steamapps/common/nba2k9 directory. Unless I am misinterpreting that 2nd line in the tutorial..

You should use "other" nba2k9.exe file. If you know, what I mean..
